BIO
Everything I know about life I learned from playing “Clue”.
Born on the shore in New Jersey and raised in the mountains of New England, “I was trained early on to seek the truth through research and to trust in nature. If you want to understand something, you must seek information, organize the facts and toss out the chaff”. Having had the opportunity to live in many parts of the country has provided opportunities for research from which to gain insight into the cultural diversity of many factions of the American population. With a Philosophy degree from Rutgers, and experience as an R.N. in the ER, their background in understanding and treating the human psyche has provided insight into the human experience from which to draw on for artistic exploration enhanced through studio art study at The Pratt Institute and the New York Studio School. A painter, with additional works in sculpture, assemblage and poetry, they use a variety of techniques and materials to address social issues close to the hearts of the local people and world issues affecting us all. |
